We ask the people of our fellowship to pray for Nancy Writebol and Dr. Kent Brantly, the two Americans in Atlanta with Ebola. We participate with Operation Christmas Child, which is run by Samaritan's Purse, the same ministry associated with the American Ebola patients.

Cathy's Memorial Service
For those that don't know, a member of our fellowship has gone home, Kathy Pryor. She sat upfront with Teri and faithfully prepared and delivered baked goods to shut-ins. Ten years
Ten years ago, the LORD moved in two men to start a Bible study in Lincoln Maine. This would be the first meeting of Lincoln Christian Fellowship. Though there have been many ups and downs, battles won, battles lost, the LORD has been faithful.

Spring Gathering
Due to some culvert washouts, our meeting place for the spring gathering has moved to Dwinal pond. We will still be meeting at the church parking lot at 8am and travelling out there together. A Bible and a camp chair would be a great thing to bring. Also, there will be chance for some canoeing and fishing, mostly for brook trout. Bring PFD, rod and reels and fishing tackle, if you want to fish. There is a small range (~30 yards) nearby if you desire to shoot a little.

Men's Spring Gathering
Next Saturday, on May 3, the men are invited to attend our Spring Gathering. We will be meeting in the parking lot of the church and then travelling to Winn and making a mile hike in to Salmon Stream.

Items that you should bring are a Bible and a camp chair. Please dress for the weather, to be outside for several hours.
We will be studying the book of Colossians, if you can, please read this book in advance. Additional activities will be hanging around the fire, fishing, canoeing, and possible some shooting.
Lunch is provided, but is a simple affair, chips, hotdogs, etc. There is no hard set time that we will be done, but we expect around 1 to 4pm.
